Our home office, showrooms, and distribution centers are located in Austin and San Antonio, Texas.  Our International distribution center is located in Buda, Texas. We have been in business since 1977 celebrating only real wood over 40 years. Feel free to visit our store website Furniture in the Raw  We own and operate a factory and custom finishing shop where we build Murphy Beds, bookcases, custom office walls and so much more. Our focus is real wood, made your way with choices.  We recognized the popularity and convenience of having an instant bed years ago and are proud to manufacture at a time when Mom and Pop factories have long closed. 

The first time we saw the Cabinet Bed products we realized the portability of the product as a clear advantage.  I knew this was the future.  

Shipping is also of concern.  We ship our products worldwide with tremendous success.  As a family business with deep roots in furniture, we offer customer service 7 days a week second to none. We pride ourselves on our responsiveness and attention to detail.  Many of the products are made to order, finished just for you.  It may take just a little longer but you will have a product you will be proud of.  We stake our reputation on it.

How will my order arrive at my home?

Once your order is placed you will receive an email within 24 hours updating you on your time frame based on availability and ship time.  

We will deliver your cabinet bed using residential curbside freight delivery. A freight driver will place the bed boxes as close to the curb of the destination address as possible.

It’s your responsibility to move the items inside your home.

We do also  offer “White Glove” at checkout, for an additional fee.  White Glove delivery is your turnkey delivery solution. It brings your item inside, unpacks, assembles and takes away any packaging materials.  

The freight carrier will call you prior to delivery to set a delivery appointment that is convenient for you.

Note: All home deliveries are made by LTL freight carriers using a 48 – 53 foot tractor-trailer (semi-truck). If you are unable to accommodate a delivery from a tractor-trailer of that length then please contact a Cabinet Bed USA Customer Service Representative at 512 451-0213, open 7 days a week.

How will I know when my bed is arriving?

The delivery appointment is made by the freight carrier. They will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment.  

How long will it take for my bed to ship and arrive?

We stock and can ship many beds, depending on your selection, right away.  Special finishes and hardware selections may take 4-6 weeks to ship.  We strive for 100% satisfaction.

Shipping companies WILL damage your product.  Shipping companies do not care.  We use professional moving companies.  Every bed leaves our distribution center fully insured.  We also own www.furnitureintherawTX.com since 1977.  We’ve been doing this a very long time!  Whether we ship to your curb or you select our white glove option, you will receive your bed in great condition.  We ONLY use professional movers. Once your bed ships it can take 2-4 weeks, depending on which method you select (curb vs. white glove).  We pride ourselves in having upfront time frames.  We are only a phone call away.  We have customer service available 7 days a week at 512-451-0213.

How should I prepare for delivery day?

You can make sure all entryways, hallways and pathways into the home are clear and uncluttered.

Do you deliver to all 50 states?

We ship to all states, including Alaska and Hawaii, which will be additional. 

Can orders be shipped internationally?

We will work with your International broker of choice.  Once the product is delivered  to your broker, it is the customer’s responsibility.

What linens should I buy?

You do not need to buy anything special.  This is a memory foam mattress.  Buy for a standard depth mattress (not deep pocket).  Most mattresses average 6″ thick.  Some people will keep their mattress pad and sheets on when the bed is in the stored position, and keep the blanket and pillows in the large storage drawer.  It is up to you what is most convenient!  

 

How do I assemble the bed?

Cabinet Beds:

The bed arrives in 2 boxes. The large box contains the upper unit with the tri fold mattress inside.  The second box contains the drawer base.

  1. Unbox the drawer base (in the smaller carton) and set it in place.  Lower the levelers so they are just making contact with your floor.  
  2. Unbox the larger box and carefully set it on top of the base, aligning it with the screw holes on the drawer base.
  3. There is a “lip” the top will sit between.
  4. Three screws (included) on each side will connect the top to the base
  5. Further Leveling may be required should your flooring be unlevel for any reason
  6. The mattress is inside the top portion.  Remove the plastic cover and enjoy!

Why does my bed have an odor?

It’s not uncommon for new furniture to have an odor that will dissipate over time. This is a normal characteristic.

How do I wash my mattress cover?

The tri-fold mattress cover is removable and machine washable. We recommend a delicate cycle and line dry. 

Can I buy the mattress only?

Yes, tri-fold mattresses are available in twin, full, and queen sizes.
